| Donna was one
of television's best-dressed women in the late '50s/early '60s during
her 8-year tenure on the small screen. She was class and female dignity
personified, whether she was wearing an everday housedress or all dolled
up in a sparking evening gown. Even when she replaced Barbara Bel Geddes
on Dallas nearly two decades later, Donna still possessed a keen
fashion sense, and made the character more glamorous, (no offense to
Barbara's fans) though she will never be thought of as the definitive
"Miss Ellie." Below is a cut-out doll from one of the Donna
Reed paper doll books in my collection.
