Into the lives of most teenagers comes a time when one set of parents seems more than enough!

Just sixteen this January 19, Shelley Fabares has two sets—and no complaints about either. To her, it’s all show business, something she’s been in love with practically since the age of four, when she took her first dancing lesson.

Shelley’s danced on TV, modeled little-girl clothes for West Coast manufacturers, acted in both motion pictures and television—including Playhouse 90, Matinee Theater, and Loretta Young dramas. Born in Santa Monica, California, she’s been a student at Immaculate Heart High School, attends classes on the studio lot during filming of The Donna Reed Show.

Shelley thinks it’s wonderful to have four parents—plus a real sister and a TV brother!
